Hopefully this and the tips and tricks from the lag fix video hold up when I try it out online.A place to share, discuss and celebrate everything about the Forza Horizon series!īe good to each other, follow reddiquette when posting or commenting. It's a little trickier to use but it seems like there's less lag, but that's only in story mode of RDR2. I ended up using Steam's controller configurations. That way one button has multiple functionsĪs for controller input lag I followed this video: I mapped some buttons onto my ergonomic mouse's side buttons.Īs for the left side and the middle of the controller i had to rearrange the buttons anduse double clicks and holds to access button ABXY and Right bumper. I disabled the right bumper and right trigger since my right hand will be for mousing. The ABXY and right stick directions are mostly navigating the pause menus and maps since i decided to ditch the keyboard for the sake of reducing lag. It gives me more access to the middle buttons with my left thumb Something also worth noting, i set my xbox one controller on the table instead of holding the controller one handed. Yeah, my ReWasd button layout for RDR2 is definitely "creative" to say the leastīasically i'm trying to do what this guy is doing: But I'm willing to go with it if the lag is significantly less. I heard that DS4windows doesn't have as much customization as ReWASD. I'm wondering if i can achieve the same thing with less lag using a PS5 controller and DS4windows? I'm thinking of returning my Xbox one controller for a PS5 controller to do this. But navigating the pause menu and map is getting a little bit ridiculous. I even tried disabling the keyboard and finding alternate key inputs to reduce lag. Recently bought a Xbox one controller for my PC to try gaming with a controller and mouse setup (sort of injured my left hand so it hurts to play with keyboard) According to youtube vids, ReWASD is a great way to achieve this.īut i am noticing significant input lag with ReWASD specifically for Red Dead Redemption 2. (Also, i realize this is the ReWASD subreddit, but i'm wondering if other people have run into the same input lag problems as I have or trying the same gaming setup.) I'm not super tech savvy so i apologize in advanced.
